Some News from The Price Is Right game I've been playing...

Check this out...!!!

The biggest ever Deal or No Deal Jackpot was won last night by Glasgow’s David E. The 29 year old is now £629,547 richer and understandably, seemed quite spaced out when Sabia spoke to him on the phone this morning.

“It hasn’t sunk in yet. I didn’t believe it when I won. I had to double check and when I told my parents, they thought I was joking. They thought I had won just £629!”

David works in the Navy and will be off on a patrol mission in the next few days. However, he seemed happy with the offer of a trip to London when he’s back home. We will be getting a photographer sent around with some champagne to get some snaps taken before he sails off, and will get some more quotes once it’s all sunk in.

“I told my wife but she didn’t believe me. I’ll wait until I have the cheque in my hands. I have no idea what I’ll spend the money on yet.”

In other news, another big Jackpot was won last night. Shiela P won £50,784 on Bingo Gold. She’s extremely grateful and in a state of disbelief. Her husband’s recently been made redundant and she’s still in a state of hysteria about her win. Sabia will ring her later as Shiela was crying too many tears of happiness to speak!

£600k on The Price Is Right!!! I can't try hard enough to convince you guys to play this, I won over £70 this weekend, not quite the same but still, its 70 quid!

They match your first deposit, I done te max, £100 and so had £200 to begin with, I still havent deposited anymore and am well up! I intend to get to £00 and withdraw some!

Theres a few good links on the price is right site now for fans out there. I read recently it is to return to our screens very soon, peak time as well! I can't wait!

I'll see if I can dig out that link. Theres quite a following of this game now, I've been speaking to a few people on forums and the like. We're thinking of arranging a meet!

Bingo Halls / Smoking, is it the end?

I've already spoke of my addiction to the new game at http://www.priceisrightbingo.com, which obviously doesn't require me to leave the house! But what of those thousands who haven't cottoned on to how good online play is and are still making the daily/weekly effort to see friends at their local hall, are they in danger of losing such a pin on the social calender in favour of having a cigi at home whilst blotting those numbers?!

I myself am a bit of social smoker I must admit, a couple of drinks and I fancy a fag! It won't bother me though due to the fact that I play online but I can obviously understand why some halls may lose a lot of custom as player will soon not be allowed to smoke whilst playing.

As silly as it may sound, bingo is just one of those things that can be much more enjoyable accompanied by some smoke in your lungs!!

Let's be honest though, in the end this must be a good idea. It can only mean those hall goers will get to play or longer as they'll hopefully be that little bit more healthy..no?

The Price Is Right - Bingo?

I'm pretty new to all this but I must say, being fairly young and enjoying a flutter, I've found now more enoyable way of doing so than online bingo, courtesy of Jackpotjoy I should add. I cam across them when browsing something to do with the classic television game show, The Price Is Right.

There is an independent website they have set up, http://www.priceisrightbingo.com. Nice site, obviously to gather custom but at least they have gone to some effort to provide some factual information for us fans.

Anyway, thats besides the point, or is it, it worked on me!! Since joining, I've won a few quid, I'm not talking £2 - £3, I'm talking £10 - £80! Its a damn good game. At Jackpotjoy though, there are other gameshow based online games, though they aren't ALL bingo based.

I played Deal or No Deal a couple of times, great, but its just like the tv show, no REAL improvements or extras and to be honest that soundtrack does my head in!

The Strike It Lucky game - brilliant! Just like the show but so much so you didnt need the extras!

Still, nothing compares to my original find and the entire reason for wanting to tell the world about my renewed love for The Price Is Right - Bingo!! I want to know what everyone else thinks really. I used to play on Gala but I dont see how they can compete with such creativity.

I dont think bingo is even that interesting to be honest, theres just something about numbers and getting them in a line that gets my blood pumpin! Im here because im an avid fan of the gameshow more than anything so am in need of some bingo expert opinions...are there any other games out there I've been missing out on?

I'd be very interested in a Family Fortunes version, imagine what they could do with that!
